Player #3: Eric Paschall

Another player who I was shocked to see drop to #40. In his senior year with the Villanova Wildcats, Eric Paschall was a versatile asset. In the 36 games that he appeared in, he averaged around 17 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game and made around 45% of his shots from the floor, 35% from beyond the arc, and 75% from the charity stripe.

Offensively, Paschall was an all-around weapon as he could score from anywhere on the floor, help with creating space, and occasionally setting up his teammates for scores. Defensively, Paschall was not the best, but his athleticism and motor helped him become a decent defender.

For the Kings, taking Paschall over James is an easy choice for me. Adding another forward who can stretch the floor and has a high motor would have benefitted the Kings who are known to run a fast-paced offense.

Not only that, but I think Paschall can contribute for the Kings this next season due to being a smart player and having an NBA body already.
