Sacramento Kings: Frank Mason III Looks To Continue Hot Start
By Rafe Wong
Even though Frank Mason III has been a good asset for the Sacramento Kings, he is still looking to improve his game.
The Sacramento Kings have surprised the NBA world so far in the 2018-2019 season as they have won three times in their first six games. Obviously, the play of De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Willie Cauley-Stein, and others have been a reason for their success. But a player who has not gotten a lot of credit is Frank Mason III.
It seemed like Mason was going to have a minimum role with the Kings when the team signed Yogi Ferrell last summer, but Frank has found a way to earn the trust of Dave Joerger.
In six games, Mason has been awesome coming off the bench as he is averaging 8.6 points and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 53.1% from the floor, 50% from the perimeter, and 80% from the free-throw line. He also has a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of 21.18 which is ranked third amongst his teammates.
Nothing Can Stop Frank
Mason has definitely impressed the Kings and their fans with his play so far, but he is making sure that his hot start to the season is not just a fluke. Once the Kings landed in Miami for their upcoming match against the Heat, Mason immediately went to a gym to get some shots up and improve this game. Nothing can take away Frank’s passion for the sport of basketball.
Do Not Sleep On Frank
Mason has been putting in the work to make sure he becomes a proven NBA player, and he is heading in the right direction in order to achieve his goal. When the Kings drafted Mason in the second round of the 2017 draft, the Jayhawk star made sure that the Kings would not regret the decision.

It is still unknown whether Mason will have a successful career in the NBA, but at least he is doing everything he can to make it work.
