Not too long ago, Sacramento Kings’ big man Harry Giles fulfilled a promise that he made long before all the basketball hype began.

The upcoming season for Harry Giles has been a popular topic within the Sacramento Kings community. Due to Harry’s massive potential, while being completely healthy for the first time in years, the Kings and their fans have high belief that he will be a part of the team’s main core for years to come.

But with all the basketball hype that has surrounded Giles in the last year, let us take a back seat and revere the former first-round pick for something he has accomplished off the basketball court.

Harry’s Turn To Give Back

In a recent picture that Giles posted on his Instagram account, it shows a picture of his mother next to a brand new car. In his caption for the photo, he writes that his mother has taken care of him for the last 20 years, and now it is his time to take care of her for the next 20 years.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is very nice to see that Giles is a special person both on and off the court. He did not need to buy his mother a car, but he understands how she impacted his life so far. And as a result, he feels it is right for him to give back.

For the Kings, they are hoping that Harry will do special things for their team while he is on the hardwood. It unknown whether that will be the case, but there is no doubt that the Sacramento Kings do have a special person on their team.
