Harry Giles has been playing well on the NBA court, but his off-the-court actions are why Sacramento Kings fans are in love with their rookie.

In my opinion, the Sacramento Kings have been mediocre during their summer league campaign, but one of the bright spots has been the play of Harry Giles.

It was unknown how Giles would perform due to his past health concerns, but so far he has been good. His ability to become a two-way player at the NBA level has been glaring both in the Sacramento and Las Vegas summer leagues.

Although there is a good chance Harry will become an asset to the Kings, his actions off the court are making him become a fan favorite. Giles just gets what it likes to be a Sacramento King, and his posts on social media have proven this notion.

When the season ended, Giles showed his appreciation towards the legendary Jerry Reynolds when Reynolds decided to retire as the team’s color analysts. Giles also put a Los Angeles Lakers fan on blast through his Instagram story. And most recently, Giles expressed his admiration towards Gary Gerould who is the Kings’ play-by-play radio voice.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is great to see Giles playing well and embracing being part of the Sacramento Kings franchise. In my opinion, Giles will be a fan favorite for the Kings community. His actions both on and off the court have shown he is the type of player the Kings need to have during their rebuild.

Can the NBA regular season just start already!?
