Sacramento Kings point guard Rajon Rondo recently made an appearance on ESPN’s “The Jump” talking about the woes that the Kings encountered this season and his future going forward.
It seemed that Rondo was a one-and-done deal with the Kings. It wasn’t too long ago that the news came out that the Kings front office was ready to live life without the talents of Rondo, who lead the league this season in assists averaged per game.
But in his recent interview with the “The Jump”, Rondo hasn’t counted out his chances of returning back to California’s capital.

According to an ESPN article articulating Rondo’s appearance on their channel, here is an important quote to take away from the piece.
"Rondo said he would “love to continue to play with” Cousins, but for that to happen, he and the Kings need to “come together and figure out if we can work, but if not, I’m always in, I’m open. I’m open this summer and I look forward to having a great career.” (per ESPN)"

Rondo played a significant role in a Kings offense this season that was ranked 3rd in points scored per game (106.6). If the two parties (Rondo and Kings) decide to part ways this summer, the Kings will certainly be in the hunt for a point guard this offseason.
