The Sacramento Kings as a collective whole were not very good. They were able to survive a season of headaches and strife, just to finish with a record of 33-49 and being 8 games out of playoff qualification.

Despite what was one of the more frustrating seasons that the Sacramento Kings endured, there were certain individuals on the team that had solid years. As a result, some players on the Sacramento Kings were worthy enough to make SI’s list of their Top 100 players for this upcoming season.

Rudy Gay was ranked 80th on the list. He finished the season averaging 17.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per games. He was also able to shoot 46.3% from the floor, 34.4% from the perimeter, and 78% from the free-throw line.

Then there is the big man, the monster in the paint, the Boogie in DeMarcus Cousins, who was ranked 12th on the list. Last season, Boogie was able to average a whopping 26.9 points per contest while snatching 11.5 rebounds.

He also averaged 1.4 blocks and 1.6 steals per game and shot 45.1% from the court, 33.3% from the three-point line, and 71.8% from the charity stripe.

Other accolades that Cousins achieved were qualifying for his 2nd All-Star game, being placed on the All-NBA 2nd Team, and this summer helping the United States win an Olympic Gold Medal in men’s basketball.
