Wing Players

It is pretty safe to say that the Clippers have great small forwards. Like I mentioned before, the Clippers have been successful this season behind the play of both Tobias Harris and Danilo Gallinari, the team’s wing players. Combining both their numbers, this duo is contributing over 40 points and 14 rebounds for their team a night.

As for the Kings, their wing players have been weak. Players like Justin Jackson, Iman Shumpert, and sometimes Bogdan Bogdanovic, have been subpar when being placed at the wing spot. There is no doubt that the small forward position is the weakest link on Sacramento’s roster.

When it comes to the small forward spot, the Clippers have a huge advantage. It will be intriguing to see what Dave Joerger has in plan for the duo of Harris and Gallinari. Who will he start? How will he distribute minutes throughout his players?

In my opinion, Shumpert and Bogdanovic have to get the bulk of the minutes. Even though they will be undersized on the defensive end, there is no doubt that they have been the best options for Sacramento at the position. They might get outmatched as defenders, but they can provide the firepower on offense.
