Sacramento Kings: Bogdan Bogdanovic is injury free, will play tonight
By Rafe Wong
The Sacramento Kings will enter tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors with much-needed help as Bogdan Bogdanovic is set to make his season debut.
The Sacramento Kings received fabulous news today as sophomore guard Bogdan Bogdanovic is now listed healthy and will play in tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
Bogdanovic was sidelined for the beginning stages of the season due to recovering from a knee injury he suffered while playing for the Serbian national team in the World Cup qualifying matches.
Last season, Bogdanovic was considered one of the Kings’ best players as he averaged over 11 points, three assists, and three rebounds a game while shooting over 44% from the court, 39% from the perimeter, and 84% from the free-throw line.
Final Thoughts
Obviously, this is great news for the Kings and their fans. Bogdan was a bright spot for the Kings last season due to his versatility on the court. The dude is an athletic, skilled, and smart basketball player who will for sure help the Kings going forward into the regular season.
It is important to remember that Bogdan is coming off a knee injury, so I do not expect him to be back to his regular self for the first few games he is back in uniform. But with that said, the Kings’ offense was electric with him on the sidelines, imagine it now considering what we saw from the Serbian star a year ago?
It is great to have you back and healthy again, Bogdan! Good luck tonight, and hopefully, you are able to be an asset for the purple and white!
