Sacramento Kings: Top 3 Players Halfway Through Preseason
By Rafe Wong
With the Sacramento Kings halfway through their preseason, which three players on the purple and white have performed better than the rest?
The Sacramento Kings are halfway through their preseason campaign and currently hold a record of 1-2. Preseason started out great for the Kings as their new offensive system showed flashes of its potential. As a result, the Kings were able to earn the 106-102 victory in their opener against the Phoenix Suns.
A few days later, the Kings traveled to Los Angeles, California where they faced off against LeBron James and the Lakers. The game was entertaining from the very start as both offenses were clicking on all cylinders. The game was close till the last minute where the Lakers were able to get the victory by a slim margin.
Just a day later, the Kings found themselves in Seattle, Washington where they played against the reigning champion Golden State Warriors in the Key Arena. Unlike their two previous performances, the Kings were flat and suffered a beatdown by their division foe.
As expected, the Kings experienced some ups and downs throughout their preseason so far. But in my opinion, more ups have been shown from the purple and white, specifically the individual performances by some of their players.
When watching the Kings play in the preseason, there have been some good individual performances by the players repping the Kings franchise on their chests. But with that said, which guys have stood out above the rest?
Check out this slideshow which will showcase who I think the top three players have been so far on the Sacramento Kings during preseason play.
