Even though Stephen Curry will not be active for the Warriors’ matchup against the Sacramento Kings tonight, there are still many things to look out for in this contest for Kings fans.

The Sacramento Kings will face off against the Golden State Warriors tonight in the Key Arena located in Seattle, Washington. The Kings are just coming off an entertaining matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers in which Sacramento lost by a score of 128-123. The purple and white will for sure be looking to bounce back by trying to win tonight’s game.

With that being said, here are three headlines to look out for in the contest.

Headline #1: Expect The Kings’ Best Tonight

Usually, when the Kings and Warriors face off, there is a ton of excitement within the game. Even though the Warriors are by far the more superior squad, that does not faze the Kings as they consistently play their best basketball (strangely) against the reigning champs.

Expect the energy and execution from the purple and white to be on point when they hit the court tonight. Also expect the score of the game to be close, especially during the later stages of the contest.

Headline #2: More De’Aaron Fox!

De’Aaron Fox has really been something this preseason so far. In his last two games, Fox has been excellent whether it is running the fast-paced offense to perfection or giving his opponents havoc on the defensive side of the ball.

Seeing the way Fox has performed is a refreshing sight for the Kings community to see, and I am sure fans cannot wait to see their long-term point guard get back on the hardwood and lead their team.

Headline #3: Star Power

The Kings have a ton of young and promising talent on their roster, but none of them are stars at this point. On the other hand, star power is not a concern for the Warriors, even with Stephen Curry not being available for this game due to personal reasons.

Even with Curry being sidelined, the Warriors still have Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green who will be playing. All three players have earned a ton of accolades throughout their careers so far, and will certainly be a good test for the Kings’ youngsters to go up against in tonight’s game.
