Bogdan Bogdanovic (6’6″ / 205 pounds)

Yes, another Serbian star should be considered for the starting small forward role. Last season, Bogdan Bogdanovic turned the heads of Kings fans as he proved he was an athletic, skilled, and instinctual player in just his rookie season. For his campaign, he averaged 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 44.6% from the floor, 39.2% from the perimeter, and 84% from the free-throw line.

To me, Bogdan may be the strongest candidate to start at the three. On offense, he has proven to be a smart guy as he constantly made the correct decisions when on the court. Bogdanovic also demonstrated last season to be a reliable shooter as he made almost 40% of his three-point shots.

Defensively, Bogdanovic may be a bit undersized for a wing player. But he is pretty athletic and has great length which will help him handle his own when going up against opposing wings.

For Bogdanovic, shooting guard is his pure position. But the Kings already have guys like De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield which I think will be the starting point and shooting guards for the Kings.

With that being said, I still would like to see Bogdan in the starting five because I think he is one of the better guys currently on the team. And if Sacramento is all about winning this season, they should send out their best guys when beginning games.
