Not too long ago, Buddy Hield posted a picture on Instagram of himself hanging out with Clint Capela. Could the Sacramento Kings be in play for the Rockets’ rim protector?

As most Sacramento Kings fans know, Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic have developed a strong friendship in the last year. The relationship is close enough that the two have been spending quality time together during this offseason where their most recent adventure has taken place in Serbia. But they were not alone.

Not too long ago, Buddy posted a picture of him and Bogi together somewhere in Serbia, but also with them was Houston Rockets’ big man Clint Capela. This season, Capela asserted himself as one of the best defensive big men in the NBA and is considered one of the top free agents this summer. Could Buddy and Bogi be the pieces to lure Capela to Sacramento?

Final Thoughts

I am sure that Buddy and Bogi are friends with the Rockets’ big man and they were just having a good time together. But if the Kings were to acquire Capela in free agency, at least he knows he will have some friends on his “new team”.

It is unknown whether Capela is on the Kings’ list of free agents to target this summer, but he should. I have been adamant that for the Kings to improve their defense they need to add a legit goalie in the paint, and Capela is the pure definition of that.
