The Sacramento Kings acquired free agents, George Hill, Zach Randolph, Vince Carter, and Bogdan Bogdanovic this summer. The brand new Kings, as well as Skal Labissiere and Frank Mason, have all selected the numbers they will wear for next season.

After a great free agency period by the Kings, the new acquisitions have finally selected their brand new numbers.

It seems not only will Malachi Richardson be changing his number from #5 to #23, but Sacramento big, Skal Labissiere, along with Kings’ second round pick, Frank Mason, will also join the club.

New Numbers

Labissiere who formerly wore #3 has changed his number to #7 in respect of his new veteran teammate, George Hill, who will wear #3.

Frank Mason has also granted his #15 to one of the flashiest players of all time, the great Vince Carter. Frank Mason will now be sporting #10 for the purple and white. (Source)

Skal Labissiere

Labissiere was drafted 28th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft. He became one of the biggest surprises for the Kings in their prior season.

Skal spent a great majority of the season down in Reno, Sacramento’s G-League affiliate. The “Big Haitian” opened a lot of eyes with his shockingly rapid development at the next level. He went from a hopeful prospect to a staple of Sacramento’s future.

Frank Mason III

Frank Mason III was a fan-favorite for Kings’ fans long before stepping foot in the Golden 1 Center. Mason was the NCAA Wooden Award winner for his outstanding play last NCAA season for Bill Self’s Kansas Jayhawks.

The former Kansas standout holds some of the highest expectations possible from a second round draft pick. Many analysts remain in awe regarding Mason falling down to the 34th overall pick.
