Check out which uniform numbers the newest members of the Sacramento Kings will sport next season.

Not too long ago, the rookies on the Sacramento Kings released what numbers they will rock on their jerseys once the regular season starts. Now the news is out which numbers the Kings’ recent free agent signings will represent on the back their uniforms.

The Numbers

Listed down below is a slideshow (posted by the Sacramento Kings’ Instagram account) of which numbers the newest Kings will rock next season. Players in the slideshow are George Hill, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Vince Carter, and Zach Randolph.

As one can see in the slideshow, Hill will be rocking #3, Bogdanovic #8, Carter #15, and Randolph #50. It was recently reported that Frank Mason III would be wearing #15 on the back his jersey, but it looks like Carter exercised his veteran treatment here and Mason will have to pick another number once the season starts. My guess is #0. Also, Skal Labissiere wore #3 last season and in this year’s summer league, but it looks like he will have a new to start the season as well.

Three of the players (Hill, Carter, and Randolph) will be rocking numbers that they have worn with their previous teams. Bogdanovic, however, is a surprise since he wore #13 during his time with Fenerbahçe and #7 when he was on the Serbian national team. I’m not sure if he has ever worn #8 before signing with Sacramento.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it looks like every player on the current Kings’ roster officially has a number to wear for the 2017-2018 campaign (with the exception of Mason III and Labissiere).

This upcoming season should be exciting for Kings fans to watch, in my opinion, as the team has a healthy mix of young talent and veteran guidance to teach the young guys how to play basketball the right way. Can it just be October yet!
