The Sacramento Kings finished their home finale with a win tonight as they defeated the Phoenix Suns by a score of 129-104.

Listed down below are the highs and lows of tonight’s game that pertain to the players wearing purple and white.

HIGHS

Buddy Hield: After struggling Sunday afternoon against the Houston Rockets, Buddy Hield bounced back tonight in great fashion. For the game, Buddy scored a whopping 30 points while shooting 60% from the floor, a new career-high for the rookie in points scored in a game.

Ty Lawson: There’s a good argument that Ty Lawson was the best player on the court tonight. Receiving his second consecutive start, Lawson was able to contribute to multiple facets of the game as he recorded 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists for the night, his first triple-double of the season.

Balanced Scoring: The Kings had players like Lawson and Hield that highlighted tonight’s game, but the Kings did an excellent job in getting everyone involved in the scoring production. Out of the nine players that hit the hardwood for Sacramento tonight, eight of them were able to score in the double-digits.

LOWS

Tyler Ulis: The Kings did a fairly good job on defense against the Suns, but they had little solutions to guarding Tyler Ulis. Ulis was everywhere tonight for the Suns’ offense. He continues to show that he belongs in the NBA as he recorded 27 points and 6 assists while shooting 40% from the floor tonight.

Langston Galloway: Langston Galloway has been a reliable shooter for the Kings as of late, but tonight his stroke was off. For the night, Galloway only scored 4 points as he shot 2-7 (28.6%) from the floor. Like it was mentioned before, Galloway has been a solid shooter for the Kings as he has recorded success rates of 41.9% from the floor and 47.2% from the perimeter since joining the Sacramento franchise.

Turnovers: Ball security was one of the dark spots in tonight’s performance for the Kings as they turned the ball over 13 times for the night. The Kings have been a team that doesn’t value the ball very much throughout this season. For their campaign, the Kings are currently ranked 21st in the NBA in turnovers per game (14.2).
