News has been released in the NBA world that Jimmy Butler might be departing the Chicago Bulls through trade this summer.
The most recent rumor is that he might be heading to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but is there a possibility that he could make his way to California’s capital instead?
The Sacramento Kings franchise may have enough assets to acquire the talents of Butler, that is if Vlade and crew really want him.
Possible Trade
Listed below is a trade proposal that has the potential to be agreed upon by both parties:

Express Yourself
So Kings fans, what are your thoughts on the trade proposal listed above? If you were the Kings’ front office, would this be a trade that could benefit the Kings going forward? To express your thoughts, feel free to comment on the ARP website, Twitter account, and Facebook page.
Based on the results of a recent poll that ARP ran, most of you would want the Kings to go after Butler, but for the right price.
I also agree with this notion, that is if the Kings can receive Butler in return without giving up too much, which seems to be a dream world scenario for Kings fans.
Rafe’s Thoughts
This trade listed above would be very intriguing for the Kings. Butler is a multiple All-Star and NBA Second-Team defender, which can potentially develop a dynamic pair in him and DeMarcus Cousins.
Although Butler would be one sweet pickup for the Kings, and Snell isn’t no scrub either, I would decline this trade if I were part of the Kings front office. Looking at this trade, the Kings may be getting the wrong end of this deal.
It would be nice for Sacramento to have a Cousins-Butler pair, but the Cousins-Cauley-Stein duo has the potential be great as well. Plus, it will be interesting to see how Rudy Gay plays this season under Dave Joerger, who both have played with each other in their days in Memphis when Joerger was an assistant coach.
Lastly, the King’s first round draft pick is another valuable asset as well. There may not be many star-caliber players in this draft class, but the Kings can still pick up an asset for their team. Vlade Divac has shown in his only draft last year that he has a solid eye for talent.
Overall, the Kings are probably not going to get Jimmy Butler this offseason through trade. His price range will for sure cause teams to sacrifice significant assets, as reported that Chicago will not let Butler go to Minnesota unless the T-Wolves are willing to give up Andrew Wiggins in return.

For a team like the Kings that don’t have many assets in their arsenal for this offseason, they don’t need to throw in all their chips for one trade.
They need to build on the roster that is in place right now through the draft and free agency. After that, we have to see then how coach Joerger utilizes the roster.
