The Sacramento Kings started the post-De'Aaron Fox era on the right note, narrowly defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Now, the team will look to continue their winning ways tonight against the Orlando Magic.
However, will the team have Zach LaVine, the player helping them usher in this new regime, available to make his Kings debut? Who will the Magic have in uniform? Here is the full injury report heading into this cross-conference matchup.
Sacramento Kings Injury Report
As the headline suggests, the main question for the Kings heading into this game will be the status of LaVine. The All-Star slasher isn't dealing with any injuries. Rather, he is just taking time to acclimate to his new home. Fortunately, according to Kings Reporter James Ham, it seems that LaVine is settled in Sacramento and will be ready to go in tonight's game.
Sidy Cissiko, the other player acquired in the three-team trade that took place on Sunday night, is also not on the injury report. So, he will also, in theory, be eligible to play. In practice, though, it seems unlikely that he will see much run out of the gate, as the second-year player only played 17 games for the Spurs this year before being traded (averaging just 3.2 minutes per game).
The only player listed on the injury report is Isaiah Crawford. The undrafted rookie isn't injured. He's just sitting out due to the restrictions of his two-way contract.
Orlando Magic Injury Report
The Magic have failed to replicate their success from last season, and a big reason why is the major injuries suffered by Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Between the two, they have missed a combined 54 games.
Fortunately for the Magic, both Banchero and Wagner will be available tonight. The same can't definitively be said about Jalen Suggs, though. The point-of-attack pest is listed as doubtful (quad), which means he has a roughly 25% chance of playing in this game.
Outside of Suggs, the other two players listed on their injury report for this game are Mac McClung (two-way) and Moritz Wagner (knee).
After this game, the Kings have a quick turnaround, traveling to Portland to play the red-hot Trail Blazers on Thursday, February 6.
