The Washington Wizards could make sense

Kyle Kuzma has long been of interest to the Kings. He provides scoring, shot creation, rebounding, good size, and defensive potential. All this makes him a solid alternative to Pascal Siakam and he is under a good contract as well.

The only question is whether or not he would be willing to not be a top two option offensively and still be locked in defensively and do all the other little things. He decided to re-sign with a retooling Wizards team over the summer where he could be the guy instead of looking for a team he could help win. Losing gets tiring, however, especially at the rate the Wizards are doing it.

The team is reportedly open to trading Kuzma now, asking for several first-round picks in return. That is a steep price for someone who is putting up empty numbers on one of the worst teams in the league, but it might change during negotiations.

With the right buy-in, Kuzma could very well be what the Kings need.
