While the 2023 NBA Draft and free agency are approaching, let’s not forget about potential trades that might go down. The Sacramento Kings have multiple players that might be on the trade block this offseason, including rumors about the Kings looking to deal their first-round selection in this year’s draft.

One player that has been circulating in just about every Kings trade rumor: Richaun Holmes. After Holmes fell out of the rotation late this season, fans started questioning his future with the franchise, and I am sure the front office has done the same. While his future is up in the air, that does not mean he will be dealt, but we can at least look at what the Kings could get in exchange for him.

Outside of Richaun Holmes, the Kings have few realistic trade assets. After a successful season, Sacramento will not be looking to break up the core group of guys, so next year’s roster will look similar to what it did this year.

The Sacramento Kings will need a starting small forward if Harrison Barnes leaves in free agency, creating a hole in the roster. If the Kings do not use free agency to fill this hole, they can fill it by making a trade. This way, the Kings can upgrade the position and potentially bring Harrison Barnes back to lead the bench unit.

The Sacramento Kings can look to trade for Andrew Wiggins.

Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins is a one-time champion and has catapulted his career forward while contributing to the 2022 championship Warriors squad. Wiggins had personal off-the-court issues, where he was unable to play the majority of the season, but in his 37 appearances, he averaged 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while shooting 47.3% from the floor and 39.6% from three.

Let’s take a look at the potential deal that would get him to Sacramento.
