The ever popular NBA 2K franchise is gearing up for 2K20, and their player ratings have some Sacramento Kings riled up.

Sacramento Kings fans are up in arms over the latest NBA 2K ratings, which have players like De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III all rated under 85.

“Zero respect,” “what a joke,” and “woooooow,” were all ways several Kings fans described the ratings, with another user joking “wait for the official ratings to come out.”

For reference, Trae Young and John Collins were both rated higher than the Kings’ trio, and Hield got an extra dish of disrespect when they rated his three-point shooting as a 90, high but below Joe Harris and J.J. Reddick — two players who took less three’s than Hield, with Reddick not even among the top-10 in three-point Percentage last season.

The 2K ratings are just the latest in a series of perceived shots the Kings have taken, with FiveThirtyEight pegging the Kings as the worst Western Conference team for next season.

Check out some of the tweets below:

In all fairness to 2K, these ratings (except for Buddy’s three-point rating) aren’t yet official, but 2kratings.com was accurate pre-release last season, and this seems in line with how the Sacramento Kings are perceived nationally.

Of course, 2K ratings don’t matter in the grand scheme of things, but it’s always fun to see how your favorite players are rated in the world’s most popular basketball video game — even if it’s not very good.
