The Sacramento Kings are reportedly not planning on pursuing a max-level free agent, so trades may be their best bet for improvement, but who do they target?

It appears the Sacramento Kings aren’t going be chasing any max-level free agents this summer. But, that doesn’t mean they won’t make any big moves.

Of course, most of these ideas aren’t based on facts — or even two-sided rumors — just ideas that seem possible from the latest round of speculation as we approach the 2019 NBA Draft. Whether the Kings are willing to shake things up substantially though is anyone’s guess.

Still, the Sacramento Kings have to do something. After watching Anthony Davis get shipped off to the division-rival Los Angeles Lakers, it’s become abundantly clear the Kings can’t sit back and make the playoffs next season based off internal growth alone.

Certainly, the Kings could improve significantly by making smart, low(er) level free agent commitments — such as signing Patrick Beverly and/or someone like Dewayne Dedmon — but is that enough to get them over the hump?

Either way, these three trades don’t shake things up too much, and, sometimes, are extremely low-risk acquisitions. As always, let’s get into it.
