Taking time off from training for the next NBA season, Harrison Barnes decided to make a stop at ESPN to talk about basketball and the Sacramento Kings on “The Jump”.

The offseason has been busy for Sacramento Kings’ forward Harrison Barnes. It started off with a bang as he visited India to promote the NBA and the Kings organization. Since then he has been training in Sacramento with his fellow teammates in prep for the 2019-20 season.

But not too long ago, he took a trip to ESPN to make an appearance on “The Jump” to talk about the Sacramento Kings and his future with the team. During the show, Barnes and the crew also discussed the Golden State Warriors and their chances of winning the NBA Finals for a third straight year.

Some moments that stood out from the interview were that he has enjoyed his tenure with the Kings so far and he is excited for what is ahead for the squad. He also talked a little bit about his future with the team, and that he is taking his time deciding whether to opt into his player option which would keep him with the purple and white for at least another year.

"“The locker room has great guys, the organization is unbelievable, and the fans are crazy, so to have that support behind you every single night is so fun” -Harrison Barnes"

Final Thoughts

It is great to see Harrison on the national stage, as well as ESPN, giving the Kings some positive recognition for a change. For the past few years, the Kings have been labeled as “the joke” of the NBA, but their play this year has put that reputation to rest.

Hopefully, the Kings continue to surprise the NBA and national media with their play going forward. Maybe next year with a playoff berth?
