Reason #2: Great Teammate

For the last few years, Vlade Divac has been adamant about adding high-character guys to his team. Based on how Harris’ career has materialized, he fits the bill for the type of players Vlade wants.

There is no one who can say a bad word towards Tobias Harris. In all five teams he has played for, he has left a tremendous impression due to his work ethic, support towards his teammates, and his mentality to put the team first before himself.

Harris’ play definitely has justified that he has these characteristics as he continues to improve in all aspects of his game while being an unselfish player.

For the Kings, having great teammates is important, especially great veterans. The Kings still have a bevy of young talent on their roster, and depending on what type of veterans they bring to their squad could steer how the development of those youngsters pan out.

In my opinion, adding Harris to the mix would be perfect for the Kings. He gives the current players an example of someone who gradually improved his game while having a positive attitude in doing so. Also, with his reputation of being able to work well with others, he will likely offer a helping hand to guys like De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III, and others who need it.
