Check out what happened during the latest Road Trippin podcast episode that featured a few members of the Sacramento Kings.

Once again, members from the Sacramento Kings organization are featured in the Road Trippin’ podcast to discuss what the future of the team holds, as well as dissecting the relationships between teammates.

For the last month or so, point guard De’Aaron Fox and color commentator Doug Christie have been the main voices when the Kings organization gets to represent themselves on Road Trippin’.

There have been times where the duo have been by themselves and other times when other members of the Kings joined them in the action. In the latest episode, veterans Corey Brewer and Harrison Barnes were the guest stars.

The Kings Talk Shop

In the episode, the group of Kings talked shop about their current team and the promise they have to become a force in the league. The group also discussed the lessons that they have learned in their past and give out advice that basketball players at any level should know in order to find success in the game.

Some moments that stood out when listening to the podcast was when Fox talked about how it is important for teammates to be accountable for each other, and that it does not hurt to be harsh with teammates if it means improving the betterment of the team.

Also, the relationship between the veterans and Fox was similar to a relationship that older brothers have with the youngest brother. Every time the veterans had a chance to tease De’Aaron, they did, and De’Aaron returned the favor back.

Final Thoughts

If one is a Kings fans and has not gotten the chance to listen to the Road Trippin’ podcast, I recommend that they should. It gives fans a better perspective of what the mindset is for some of the players on the team, as well as how the relationships between certain teammates are.
