Now that the 2018-19 season is over for the Sacramento Kings, let us discuss which players on the roster were the biggest surprises this campaign?

Even though the Sacramento Kings were unable to make the playoffs, extending their drought to 13 straight years, it was still a fun season to watch.

Prior to the campaign, the purple and white were projected to win around 25 games this season. But due to the rise of their young talent, the Kings were able to earn a record of 39-43 which had them as the ninth seed in the tough Western Conference.

Like I mentioned above, the young talent for the Kings really helped them be competitive and gave their fans hope for a brighter future ahead. The season itself was a huge surprise not only for Kings fans but everyone in the NBA world as well.

But during this astonishing year, which players on the Kings roster were the biggest surprises?

In my opinion, there are a few guys on the purple and white that pleasantly surprised the Kings community with their play on the court. But let us focus on three specific guys who deserve recognition for the Surprise Player of the Year Award.
