Reason #3: Change The Culture

Not too long ago, the Kings were going through their dark days which consisted of coaching/player movements to happen constantly. It was not until 2017 when stability started to take place within the organization.

The front office stuck and believed in Vlade Divac’s vision of the team, as well as Joerger’s ability to coach talent. Ownership even committed to their young players in the hopes that they can become the main core of the franchise’s future. As a result of this stability, the Kings look like a promising team with a bright future.

So why are we considering letting go of Joerger again?

Do not make this mistake again, Kings. Do not go back to your dark days. Dave Joerger has done a great job as your head coach and there is no one on the market that is surely a better option at the position than him.

No more circus, no more drama this time. For once in a long time, your fans are genuinely hopeful and excited for what the purple and white have to bring for the new year. Letting go of Joerger would just crush that hope.
