Player #2: Buddy Hield

Remember when the Kings acquired Buddy Hield from the DeMarcus Cousins trade, and how almost everyone thought Sacramento was getting a borderline bust? Well, funny how things have changed.

Not only has Buddy Hield developed into a reliable shooter for the Kings, but also into one of their powerhouse scorers and one of the best shooters in the entire league. So far this season, Buddy is averaging over 20 points per contest while making around 48% of his shots from the floor, 46% from the three-point line, and 87% from the free-throw stripe. He also has become one of Sacramento’s most reliable players on both ends of the floor due to the relentless energy and effort that he showcases in every game. And I mean EVERY game.

Without the services of Buddy Hield this season, the Kings are not a good team. It is as simple as that. In 51 games so far, he has been their leading scorer, their best shooter, and a reliable asset that the purple and white can depend on to show up in every game.
