Sacramento Kings’ prized rookie Marvin Bagley III has been out due to recovering from a knee injury. But his return back to the hardwood may be coming soon.

On December 14, the Sacramento Kings got hit with the injury bug as their young forward in Marvin Bagley III suffered a bone bruise in his left knee. As a result, Bagley has been sidelined ever since which has taken away a prime asset from Sacramento’s bench. But that may not be the case going forward as recent news shows encouraging signs towards the 19-year old rookie.

According to Jason Anderson, sportswriter for the Sacramento Bee, there is a “strong possibility” that Bagley could be ready to hit the court as early as tomorrow night’s game when the Kings face off against the Magic. As of late, Bagley has mentioned that his knee is feeling much better, and it seems like the Kings’ medical staff is ready to clear him for full activity.

How Bagley’s Presence Impacts The Kings?

Obviously, adding Bagley back to Sacramento’s rotation is a plus for them. When healthy, Bagley was able to provide solid minutes for the Kings due to his abilities to score in versatile ways, rebound the ball, and run the floor.

As the year went on, Bagley showed gradual strides in being more comfortable with the strength and speed of the NBA. Hopefully, that pattern of improvement continues on when he finally gets back on the hardwood.
