Which three players on the Sacramento Kings need to have a good performance today in order for the purple and white to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans?

The Sacramento Kings are hoping to continue surprising the NBA today as they will be hosting the New Orleans Pelicans. For the Kings, they are coming off a dramatic win against the Memphis Grizzlies last Friday night. They stand at a record of 17-15 which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

As for the Pelicans, it has been a disappointment so far. A team that was projected to make the playoffs this season is currently the 13th best team in the West as their record is at 15-18.

Tonight’s game is critical for both teams. Both squads are thinking playoffs this season, and a win tonight will elevate the victor in the standings as well as potentially giving them some needed momentum going forward.

Obviously, a win for the Kings will be great. Not only would it help the purple and white in the standings, but beating a team like New Orleans is no small feat.

Even though the Pelicans’ record is not good, they still have great players like Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Julius Randle, and more on their roster. A Sacramento victory would definitely add on to the case that the Kings are a legit team that refuses to go away.

For a Kings win today, they need to play well as a collective whole. But there are a few players that if their games elevate tonight it will help immensely for the team.
