Kevin Durant Gives Major Praise To The Sacramento Kings

With the Sacramento Kings shocking the NBA world so far, it has gained the respect and attention of one of the league’s superstar players.

The Sacramento Kings have been a pleasant surprise for their fans and the rest of the NBA. They currently hold a record of 15-12 and are the eighth seed in the tough Western Conference.

Obviously, the team’s fanbase is ecstatic, and honestly shocked, that their team is on the rise to becoming legit. But the Kings’ success has also gained the attention of one NBA superstar, Kevin Durant.

KD Gives Sacramento Props

In a recent podcast interview that Durant had with Bill Simmons, he talked about how he believes the Kings are the next team to make a leap of improvement. During the conversation, he discussed his level of respect for Dave Joerger in how the Kings’ coach has been successful in coaching Sacramento a different way compared to his previous teams.

Even Simmons was giving praise to the Kings as he commended the play of De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. Also, both think that the Kings will be in the playoff conversation as the season keeps progressing.

Final Thoughts

Well, it is official. Kevin Durant is heading to the Sacramento Kings next season!

But all kidding aside, it does not really matter what people outside of the Kings’ organization think about the purple and white. But at the same time, it is nice to see that the Kings are earning respect from outside their community.

But now with the team having young stars on the rise and showcasing entertaining basketball nightly, the national media has no choice but to give the Sacramento Kings their respect.
