The Sacramento Kings will face off against the Phoenix Suns tonight in the Talking Stick Resort Arena. Even though the Kings will be on the road for tonight’s contest, this is still a must-win game for the purple and white.

Tonight, the Sacramento Kings will begin their four-game road trip as they will be in Phoenix, Arizona to play against the Suns.

Going into the 2018-19 season, the Suns were a serious candidate as a dark-horse team. Behind the talents of young stars like Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Josh Jackson, as well as having veteran players to polish their rotation, it seemed like the Suns had a good chance to sneak into the playoffs by the end of the regular season.

Hype Has Burned Out For Phoenix

Unfortunately, for the Suns and their fans, their team has underperformed as they sit in the basement of the Western Conference with a record of 4-18. Instead, the Kings have been the pleasant surprise of the league. Their high-powered offense, led by De’Aaron Fox, has the team standing at a record of 11-11 and are currently in contention for a playoff berth.

For the Kings to continue to prove they are a legit squad to reckon with, they NEED to win tonight’s contest. Not only are the Suns a team that has underperformed, but they enter tonight’s match without their two main guards in Devin Booker and T.J. Warren. For Phoenix, Booker and Warren are their two best scorers as they combine for over 41 points a night. A lot of points that the rest of the Suns’ roster needs to make up for.

A MUST-WIN FOR THE KINGS

The Kings will be without their prized rookie in Marvin Bagley III, but the purple and white are pretty healthy going into tonight’s contest. With the Suns being a subpar team and hobbled at the moment, the Kings must come out of this contest with a win.

Even though the Kings will be on the road for the next four games, their competition is winnable, and earning a victory tonight could give Sacramento good momentum going forth.

What type of team are we going to witness tonight? Are we going to see the Sacramento Kings or the Sacramento KANGZ?
