Kings Bench vs. Thunder Bench

How the Kings’ second unit performs tonight can decide whether the purple and white come out of the game victorious. For the year, Sacramento’s bench is ranked seventh in points scored per game while Oklahoma City’s is ranked 25th. Most likely, the reserves for the Thunder will not put up many points, especially with Westbrook out for the game. So if the Kings’ bench can have a good scoring night, it will be huge for the team.

Although the Kings’ bench is one of the top scoring groups in the league, they have been inconsistent this season. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been the only consistent asset from the group, and he has only played in five games.

Consistency Is Key For Justin Jackson’s Success. light. More

If the Kings are going to win this game, they need more of their reserve players to have solid nights. Players like Marvin Bagley III, Frank Mason III, and Justin Jackson have all had good performances this year, but bad ones as well. If the Kings’ bench as a collective whole can give their team a spark when the starters are out, it will give the Kings a great chance to win the game.
