The Sacramento Kings are now a team with a winning record as they have defeated the Miami Heat by a score of 123-113. With this victory, the Kings now hold a record of 4-3 while the Heat are now 3-3 for the season.
Game Recap
Sacramento did not have the ideal start to the game as they struggled on offense. As a result, the first quarter ended with the purple and white finding themselves down by a score of 28-17.
But once the second quarter began, Sacramento woke up. The Kings were able to get their offense flowing which had them scoring 34 points in the second period. This led to the game being tied at 51 going into halftime.
Once the second half started, the Kings were back at it. A total of 43 points were scored by Sacramento in the third period which gave them a comfortable 11-point lead once the quarter ended. A score of 94-83 to be exact.
The Heat did give the Kings some fits in the fourth quarter, but the purple and white were able to hold on until the clock hit triple zeros in the end. The Kings have now won three straight games.
