Vlade Divac and Dave Joerger could not be happier about the Sacramento Kings.
It has been a long summer for all of us whose favorite sport is basketball, myself included. There is no better time of the year for Sacramento Kings fans. Training camp is always a time of hope for a breakout year. All teams are equal when training camp starts and the hope for the upcoming season is like Christmas morning. You do not know what is in the box, but you just know it will be good.
1st Preseason Game
This will give us a glimpse of what Dave Joerger’s game plan for the season will look like. It will also give us a look at the progress of Sacramento’s hard-working youngsters over the summer.
Also, what will the free agents bring to the purple and white? Nemanja Bjelica and Yogi Ferrell are not big names but make the home team a much deeper and better group. Iman Shumpert who we have not seen play in a Kings uniform yet. How good will he be? What position will coach play him at? Will Harry Giles continue to play as well as he did in summer league? Is Marvin Bagley III ready to play against NBA talent every night? All the exciting questions. We will find the answers to these questions soon enough.
Season Predictions
Our staff will give you our win-loss predictions. Plus we will add a little fun to it by predicting who will get team awards for leading scorer, rebounder, and playmaker. What are your expectations for the Kings this year? Send them in. We would love to hear what you have to say. Looking forward to seeing our hometown team take the next step in building a winning franchise. Kings fans are long overdone for a great team considering their great city and fanbase.
Regular Season Is Almost Here!
The Kings will begin their season against the Utah Jazz on October 17. With no pressure, a bit of team chemistry, and also a little luck, maybe the Kings will exceed their expectations. It all starts against Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz in three weeks plus. Looking for the hometown team to begin their campaign strong with a convincing win!
