See how Sacramento Kings’ rookie Marvin Bagley III reacted when he found out what his rating will be in the newest NBA 2K game.

Not too long ago, the news came out that Marvin Bagley III will have a rating of 78 in the upcoming NBA 2K game which will be released next month. I recently wrote some words about the topic and thought that Bagley’s rating should have been lower. If Marvin read my piece, he probably would have laughed at me.

Shortly after Marvin’s 2K rating was released, he responded in a way that should have everyone in the Sacramento Kings community fired up. In his most recent tweet, he typed a ton of laughing emojis which captioned his thoughts on his 2K rating.

Final Thoughts

Although Bagley disagrees with NBA 2K, and myself, I am glad he has that mentality. One of the attractions that made Bagley a top prospect in this year’s draft was that he was a player that competed with a ton of energy and passion. So hopefully him seeing his 2K rating will add more fuel to his fire. I mean, he is already dialed in before training camp has even started.

Although I think Bagley should have a lower 2K rating than he currently has, I hope I am wrong. If Bagley is able to play up to his potential in the upcoming years, it would help the Kings’ rebuild immensely and most likely get the purple and white back to relevancy around the NBA.
