Sacramento Kings’ guard Iman Shumpert is ready to make an impact with his new team. Check out what he has recently done during his offseason.

To no surprise, many players on the Sacramento Kings have been grinding out in the gym this offseason in the hopes that their games will improve for the 2018-2019 campaign. One of these players has been Iman Shumpert who only played 14 games last season, none of which were with the Kings.

Shumpert Is Still Grinding In The Gym

For Shumpert, he will definitely rock the purple and white this upcoming season as he opted into his player option and is now healthy to compete. Throughout this summer, Shumpert has been posting videos of his workouts to show the public what he is up to. Not too long ago, he posted on his Instagram account another video of himself working on his perimeter shooting.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is good to see that Shumpert is making the effort to become an asset for the Kings this upcoming season. It is no surprise that the Sacramento Kings are not an attractive team to play for compared to their counterparts. But Shumpert has shown excitement since being traded to the team which should be an encouraging sign for the Kings and their fans.

Hopefully, Shumpert’s efforts this summer will pay off for him during the season. His reputation as a defender gives excitement towards the Kings community. And if he is able to perform up to expectations, he will be a valuable piece in Dave Joerger’s depth chart.
