Based on his social media activity, Iman Shumpert is excited to be part of the Sacramento Kings’ roster next season. It is both amazing and confusing at the same time.

Once the 2018 NBA Trade Deadline concluded, Sacramento Kings fans were excited when they found out that Iman Shumpert would be on their team going forward. But what is even better news is that the feelings are mutual between both clubs.

Based on Shumpert’s activity on social media, it shows me he is excited about being part of the Kings’ rebuild and has faith that the purple and white will get out of their losing ways.

Listed down below are some of his tweets and posts on Instagram showing he admiration of the purple and white. Not only does he dig rocking the Kings’ name on his chest, but he also has shown confidence in how the Kings are rebuilding.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is exciting to see that Shumpert is excited about what he and the Kings have in store going forward. In my mind, it is rare to see guys in the NBA motivated to play for a team like the Kings, a small-market franchise who has not won much in the past. So witnessing how Shumpert is thrilled to play for Sacramento is puzzling.

But with that being said, I am happy that Iman is motivated to be with the Kings next season. Having a player like him who has won an NBA championship and is known as a pesky defender in the league will definitely help the purple and white going forward.
