Sacramento Kings: Marvin Bagley III Living It Up This Summer

With Marvin Bagley III having the summer of a lifetime, he recently decided to take a minute to enjoy himself before his NBA career begins.

Not only has this summer been big for the Sacramento Kings, but for Marvin Bagley III as well. Just months ago, Bagley was a guy who finished his freshman year of college and had no idea where his basketball career would end up next.

Once the 2018 NBA Draft concluded, Bagley knew his next chapter would be with the Sacramento Kings as the purple and white selected him with the second overall pick in the event.

Busy Summer For Marvin

Since being drafted, Bagley’s schedule has been jampacked. Right after the draft, Bagley was introduced to the team and the city of Sacramento where he had to go through tons of media events and interviews. Immediately after, Bagley had to train with his new teammates for the summer league games. Bagley ended up playing a total of four games where he showed a little sample size of what type of player he can be for Sacramento going forth.

Time To Relax

Now that the NBA is in its dog days of the season, Bagley now has time to sit back and enjoy himself. Not too long ago, his father showed the public through Instagram what the first-round pick has been up to. Check out the video below which shows Bagley dancing with his little brother.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is nice to see Marvin enjoying himself before the regular season starts. For Bagley, the Kings are hoping for him to be a core piece to their rebuild. He may be raw right now, but Bagley definitely holds the potential to be a star player in the NBA. And if he is able to reach his ceiling, I believe success will come to the Kings sooner than later.
