Check out the latest update on Skal Labissiere’s offseason. For Sacramento Kings fans, they will be amped to see what their two-year forward has been doing.

Throughout the NBA offseason, A Royal Pain has written multiple articles on what certain players on the Sacramento Kings have been doing during their summer. Some of the articles have featured the guys in purple and white having a good time, and some have showcased them in the gym and working out. This piece will continue with the working out trend.

For the Kings, they have a ton of young big men on their squad, but someone who gets lost in the mix sometimes is Skal Labissiere. The Kings drafted Labissiere in the first round of the 2016 draft.

In his two years so far with Sacramento, Skal has experienced ups and downs through his journey. Labissiere was a promising player during his rookie year but then dipped a little in his sophomore season. But it looks like this summer that Skal is looking to make a big impact in year #3.

Skal Is On A Mission

Thanks to Coach Shabazz, CEO & Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Shabazz Fitness, he posted a recent workout video featuring Labissiere himself. In the clip, it shows Skal doing a heavy-weight workout where he looks jacked out of his mind.

Final Thoughts

There has not been much action regarding Skal Labissiere during this offseason, but it is good to see that he is dialed in and is on a mission to becoming a better player. In my opinion, Skal is a very skilled player for his position, the biggest knock to his game, however, is that he does not have the strength to match up with NBA competition.

Hopefully, after this summer, Skal will be a much stronger player than he was in the past. Based on the video, I would say he is making good progress.
