NBA Draft day is here, and it appears the Sacramento Kings have made their decision at pick two.  Their man seems to be Marvin Bagley III.

NBA Draft day is here and with just hours to go before the Sacramento Kings are on the clock it appears their decision is complete.  The Kings had it narrowed down to three players in the week leading up to the draft, but it appears they have decided on selecting Marvin Bagley III according to James Ham.

Sacramento believes in Bagley III as the piece that can lead the team back to the playoffs.  Hopefully, the front office is correct because passing on a player like Luka Doncic could be disastrous.  Doncic is the selection the fans wanted, but GM Vlade Divac and company appear to have seen things differently.  There will be plenty more to come on this story after the pick is official.

Final thoughts

The Sacramento Kings appear to have decided on selecting Marvin Bagley III with the second overall pick.  The development is not totally surprising, but fans will not be thrilled.  The good news is MB3 seems motivated to get better, and he wants to play in Sacramento.  If he ends up being the pick, give him a chance to be great because the potential is there.
