NBA Draft prospect Michael Porter Jr. says he is healthy and should have no long-term issues making the Sacramento Kings seriously consider him at pick two.
NBA Draft night takes place on June 21, and the Sacramento Kings have narrowed down the second overall pick to three players. International wing Luka Doncic is still balling out for Real Madrid. Former Duke big man Marvin Bagley III came for a private workout and is pushing hard to be the man. The final option made headlines on June 18.
Porter Jr. says he’s healthy
Michael Porter Jr. went on the Will Cain Show on June 18, and he shared a few interesting tidbits.
One, he admitted the Kings are showing interest in him.
Two, Porter Jr. is not at all worried about his reported hip injury. He even went as far as to say it was a non-factor.

Sacramento is very high on Michael Porter Jr. The Kings likely go in a different direction on June 21, though. The odds of him ending up in Sacramento at this writing are about 15 percent. The Kings front office sees him as an impact scorer, but the injury questions are difficult to overlook with so many exciting prospects at the top of the 2018 NBA Draft.
