The NBA Draft’s projected number one pick DeAndre Ayton signed an endorsement deal with Puma joining fellow prospect Marvin Bagley III.

NBA Draft night is almost here, and the news is flying quickly.  The Sacramento Kings have a franchise-altering decision to make on Thursday, but plenty of time will be devoted to that.

Today, we focus on projected top pick and former Arizona big man DeAndre Ayton.  Ayton made headlines on June 18 by deciding on his shoe and apparel company.

Puma gets a second top prospect

Ayton decided to join Marvin Bagley III with Puma.  Bagley III’s deal with Puma was their first with a basketball player in nearly a decade, but clearly, the brand is making a comeback after signing the potential first two picks of the 2018 NBA Draft.

Any chance Ayton isn’t number one?

DeAndre Ayton appears to be a lock at number one, but is there any chance the Suns pass on him?  The percentage is less than one percent at this point.  Every major outlet is reporting that Ayton is going number one, but it is never a certainty until the pick is in the books.

Final thoughts

DeAndre Ayton is joining Marvin Bagley III by signing an endorsement deal with Puma.  The brand signed a third projected first-round pick in Zhaire Smith also.  Be on the lookout for Puma’s shoes on the NBA court next season.

Hopefully, June 21 is a fantastic day for Kings fans and the team drafts their franchise player.
