NBA Draft prospect Marvin Bagley III made a splash by signing an endorsement deal with Puma.  Will he also make waves with the Sacramento Kings?

NBA Draft 2018 is shaping up to be a night of intrigue and excitement.  Expect a few trades, some surprising picks, and maybe even a blockbuster that will have us talking for weeks to come.

The Sacramento Kings figure to be a prime player in this year’s draft.  They hold the second overall selection, and one of their targets made news on June 14.

Bagley III signs with Puma

Former Duke big man Marvin Bagley III made headlines by signing with Puma over other sneakers giants.

The news was shocking because Puma has not signed an NBA player in years.  The company is trying to expand their brand and securing one of the top draft choices is a fantastic place to start.

Where does Bagley III call home

The biggest question surrounding Bagley III is what team selects him in the draft.  The Suns appear locked on DeAndre Ayton, but the Kings have some interest.  It is unlikely Bagley III slips from the top-five.  Atlanta is the most likely destination as of this writing, but things could change before June 21.

Final thoughts

Marvin Bagley III decided to sign an endorsement deal with Puma.  The move shows he is not afraid to think outside the box and that could be a positive for any team that selects him.  Bagley III is a skilled offensive big man that should be able to get buckets in the NBA.  Hopefully, he finds the right fit in the NBA Draft.
