Marvin Bagley III To Visit With The Sacramento Kings
By Rafe Wong
Recent news has come out that top-draft prospect, Marvin Bagley III, will visit the Sacramento Kings next week.
For the last couple of weeks, the Sacramento Kings have been inviting second-round talent to come to their facility and work out in front of them, even though the Kings hold the second overall pick in the draft.
Now things are starting to get juicy as it has been reported by James Ham, Kings’ Insider for NBC Sports California, that Marvin Bagley III will come and visit Sacramento next Monday. Bagley is considered one of the top talents in this year’s draft class after having an excellent campaign with the Duke Blue Devils.

My Thoughts
It is exciting to see a top-tier talent in this year’s draft come and visit the Kings. Although Bagley is not considered THE top prospect, according to many mock drafts, he is still a player who has star-caliber potential, in my mind.
It would be a bold move if Vlade Divac and company actually did select Bagley with the second pick. To me, he is an extremely raw talent who still needs to find out which position fits him best once he gets to the NBA level. But with that being said, he showed this year that he is a beast who has supreme athleticism and a fantastic motor when he is on the court. There also seems to be a huge chip on his shoulder as he considers himself the best player in the upcoming draft.
Final Thoughts
Overall, it is an exciting time for Kings fans as it looks like the team is going to start evaluating and meeting with the top players in the draft. Hopefully, the purple and white will select a player who will help speed up the team’s rebuilding process.
