List of Prospects
Jaylen Hands (Guard/6’3″/170 pounds)
Prior to joining the UCLA Bruins, Jaylen Hands was considered a top prospect in his high school class due to being a dominant scorer and having supreme athleticism.
Unfortunately, Hands’ time with UCLA did not live up to expectations. In the 31 games he played, he averaged 9.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 40.5% from the floor and 37.4% from the perimeter.
Thomas Wilder (Guard/6’3″/190 pounds)
Thomas Wilder is coming off four seasons with the Western Michigan Broncos. During his tenure with the Broncos, he was a volume scorer as he averaged 15.7 points a game in four years.
In his most recent season, Wilder averaged 18.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 43.1% from the floor and 32.4% from the perimeter.
Devon Hall (Guard/6’5″/211 pounds)
After completing four seasons with the Virginia Cavaliers, Devon Hall has decided to become eligible for the draft. In his final collegiate season, he averaged 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
The stats will not blow you away, but Hall was a valuable piece to Virginia’s success this season by being a reliable shooter. For the year, Hall was able to make 45.4% of his shot from the court, 43.2% from the three-point line, and 89.4% from the free-throw line.
Rawle Alkins (Forward/6’5″/220 pounds)
Rawle Alkins was a solid asset for the Arizona Wildcats in his second season as he averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per contest. In his two-year tenure with Arizona, he averaged 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 45% from the floor and 36.5% from the perimeter.
B.J. Johnson (Forward/6’7″/200 pounds)
In his first two years with the Syracuse Orange, B.J. Johnson had little to no impact on the basketball court. But in his last two years with the La Salle Explorers, he became a dynamic scorer.
In his recent season with La Salle, Johnson averaged 20.8 points and 8.3 rebounds a game while making 44.6% of his shots. During his two-year tenure with the school, he averaged 19.1 points a contest which is a lot better compared to the 3.4 points he averaged with Syracuse.
George King (Forward/6’6″/220 pounds)
Prior to putting his name into this year’s draft, George King had four years of college basketball under his belt. All of his years spent at the Univerity of Colorado.
During his time with the Buffaloes, King averaged 10.2 points and 5.4 rebounds a contest while making 44.4% of his shots from the floor and 40.1% from the three-point line. In his senior year with the team, he averaged 12.9 points and 7.8 rebounds a game while recording a shooting clip of 44.5 from the court and 39.5 from beyond the arc.
