De’Aaron Fox suffered a head injury late in the Feb. 14 game against the Houston Rockets.  Continue reading for more information about on Fox.

De’Aaron Fox just cannot catch a break when it comes to these injuries.  Fox had a bothersome quad in December and an ankle injury last week.  His injury in the Valentine’s Day game looked scarier, though.  Below is a video of the injury via NBC Sports California.

Fox takes a hard fall right on his head.  The Sacramento Kings’ rookie needed stitches in two different locations according to Sean Cunningham.  He is also likely in the league’s concussion protocol.

What the news means

The injury puts Fox’s status in doubt for the Rising Star’s game on Friday.  If the diagnosis is a concussion, Fox will miss that contest.  The Kings do not play again until Feb. 22, so the rookie has ample time to rest and recover before that.  Hopefully, Fox does not have a concussion, and he bounces back quickly from that scary fall.

Final thoughts

De’Aaron Fox took a hard fall on the court on Feb. 14 against the Houston Rockets.  He suffered lacerations to his face and a possible concussion.  Stay tuned for more information on the injuries as it becomes available.

The Kings need Fox healthy after the All-Star Break.  He needs to continue his development and become the leader of the squad.  Fox has the talent and ability to be an exceptional NBA player, but the rookie needs time to mature.  Hopefully, he is healthy and ready to go come Feb. 22.
