The Sacramento Kings travel to the face the Milwaukee Bucks in a regular season game on Dec. 2.  This article previews that game from a Kings’ perspective.

The Sacramento Kings travel to Wisconsin to face the Milwaukee Bucks tonight.  Oddly, this is the second time this week Sacramento has met the Bucks.  On Tuesday, the Kings hosted Milwaukee on the second of a back-to-back and lost 112-87.  Sacramento again is playing for the second time in two evenings tonight.

Last night, the Kings traveled to Chicago to take on the Bulls.  Sacramento rode a 25 point Zach Randolph performance to a 107-106 victory.  Below is a highlight video of that game for your enjoyment.

I wrote a scouting report on the Milwaukee Bucks for Tuesday’s contest that you can read here.  Not much has changed for the Bucks in a few days, so the report holds for this game.

Feed Z-Bo

I mentioned Zach Randolph’s 25 points against the Bulls, but what I did not say was how he got to that point. Z-Bo shot 12 of 19 from the field plus he sank his only free throw.  He added in 13 rebounds, three assists, and a block in 32 minutes.  Randolph was also plus ten in the plus/minus category.

The Kings are best served to use Z-Bo against the reserve big men of the Bucks as much as possible this evening.  John Henson is a quality shot blocker in the starting five, and Giannis Antetokounmpo will run a circle around Randolph.  He should dominate Thon Maker and rookie D.J. Wilson, though.

Fight

The Bucks are a strong team that is likely playoff bound, but I want to see a better fight this evening.  The Kings rolled over and played dead in the second quarter last time being outscored 29 to 11.  Sacramento needs to play better even if they cannot secure their second consecutive win.

Final thoughts

There you have it, an abbreviated preview of the Dec. 2 game between the Sacramento Kings and the Milwaukee Bucks.  Please tune in tonight and enjoy the game.
