This article takes a look at the Sacramento Kings’ schedule for the week of March 13th to March 19th to give you a guide of what is ahead.

The Sacramento Kings enter the week on an eight-game losing streak.  The team is scuffling to find an identity and turnovers and poor defense has sunk the Kings in recent games.

Sacramento faces a four-game week featuring a home game followed by three road tilts.  It will be a difficult week to break out of their funk, but the Kings are due for an unexpected performance.

Let us now take a closer look at each of the games on tap for this week.

Game 67 vs Orlando Magic

When- Monday, March 13th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California

Monday marks the only home game of the week and a chance to break out of their funk.  The Orlando Magic have lost two straight games and have just 24 wins on the season (one less than Sacramento).  This should be an opportunity for the Kings to shine on Monday night.

Game 68 at Phoenix Suns

When- Wednesday, March 15th at 7:00 pm Pacific

Where- Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona

The Kings travel to Phoenix for a Wednesday night clash with the Phoenix Suns.  That means another opportunity to watch the twenty-year-old Devin Booker in action.  Booker has torched the Kings by averaging 25.5 points and 2.0 three-pointers made per game while shooting 52.8% from the field on 36 attempts in the two contests.  Expect another big game from Mister Booker on Wednesday evening.

Game 69 at Oklahoma City Thunder

When- Saturday, March 18th at 12:00 pm Pacific

Where- Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The Kings travel to Oklahoma City for the first of a back-to-back on Saturday.  This is a chance to see potential MVP, Russell Westbrook, on his journey to average a triple-double on the season.  He is currently on pace through 66 games and this is one of the NBA storylines I will be following down the stretch.

Game 70 at San Antonio Spurs

When- Sunday, March 19th at 4:00 pm Pacific

Where- AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas

Sunday marks the second of a back-to-back and the second game against the San Antonio Spurs in just over a week.  On March 8th, the Spurs hosted the Kings and came from 28 points down to defeat Sacramento 114-104 that night.  Below is a highlight video to refresh your memory on the game.

The Spurs are a difficult matchup for Sacramento, so throw in the fact that it is the second of a back-to-back and it could be a long night for the Kings.

Summary

There you have it, a look at the Sacramento Kings schedule for the upcoming week.  It will be four difficult games, but hopefully, the team gets a few wins and gains some confidence for the stretch run.

Hopefully, this article provides you with the Kings’ schedule for the week so you can plan to enjoy some basketball.
