This article takes a look at the Sacramento Kings’ schedule for the week of February 27th to March 5th to give you a guide of what is ahead.

The Sacramento Kings split the two games last week.  They looked great on Thursday in their win against the Denver Nuggets, but they looked bad against the Charlotte Hornets in Saturday’s game.

The Kings conclude their five-games home stand this week with three home games.  The opposition is not the toughest, so Sacramento has a chance to earn three victories and build some momentum for this stretch run.

Let us now take a closer look at each of the game for the Sacramento Kings this week.

Game 60 vs Minnesota Timberwolves

When- Monday, February 27th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

The Kings are looking forward to Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.  It is their first chance to wipe the bad taste from their mouth that Saturday’ game left.  The Kings have also looked great against the Timberwolves this season.

Monday’s game will be the third of four meetings against Minnesota this regular season.  The Kings have won each of the first two meetings.   Most recently, the Kings traveled to Minnesota and defeated the Timberwolves 109-105 on December 23rd.  Below is a highlight video from that game to refresh your memory on the happenings.

Game 61 vs Brooklyn Nets

When- Wednesday, March 1st at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

The Brooklyn Nets visit Sacramento for the only time on Wednesday.  The Nets currently (as of February 25) have the worst record in the NBA.  The team has just 9 wins all season or half as many as the Phoenix Suns, the owner of the second-worst record.

A Sacramento victory seems likely on Wednesday.  The Nets have recorded just 2 road wins in 27 road contests.  Simple math would tell that the Nets win roughly 7.4% of their road contests.  Here is to hoping the Kings give them yet another road loss on Wednesday.

Game 62 vs Utah Jazz

When- Sunday, March 5th at 3:00 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

During the Sunday matinee, watch out for Gordon Hayward.  Hayward has been great in the two meetings against Sacramento this season.  He is averaging 27.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers made, and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 48.6% from the field and 92.9% from the charity stripe against the Kings.  Expect another big game from Hayward come Sunday.
