23. Webber Traded/First Game Against Kings: After 7 ½ amazing seasons in Sacramento, the Kings organization traded Chris Webber to the Philadelphia 76ers. What made this such a memorable moment for Kings fan was that Webber was considered a star, and trading him away for basically little to nothing (details here) was the first sign that the Kings glory days were over.
Not only was it bad enough that Webber was gone, but just after being traded to his new team, his next opponent was against the Sacramento Kings. It was an emotional game to say the least, the former King having to face his old team immediately after being traded. Fortunately for the Kings, and sadly for Webber, Sacramento was able to pull off the emotional win in Philly with a score of 101-99.
